Evaluation of farmers’ wheat production technical efficiency based on income increasing

ABSTRACT: Based on the goal of income increasing, this research uses DEA-BCC model under input and output orientation to estimate differences changes in technical efficiency wheat production by farmers different scales based survey data 1669 farmers’ from China’s main wheat-producing regions. Results showed that there are significant farmer’s optimal scale orientation. The relationship between planting is characterized U-shaped curves inverted respectively. most major grain areas a DEA ineffective state, agricultural needs be improved.
